Senior Polymer Trader

We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Executive to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for driving growth in current and prospective markets, developing customer relationships, and representing the company at meetings and conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit and identify new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets.
• Develop and maintain customer databases by contacting customers, collecting inquiries, and sending regular offers.
• Purchase and sell plastic resins including PP, PE, PET, and PVC from Indian producers and distributors, and sell these materials to assigned existing customers and new customers.
• Represent the company at meetings and conferences in India and international tradeshows to promote the company's products.
• Maintain and develop relationships with Indian resin producers.
• Assist in monitoring logistics, inventory management, and cargo allocations.
• Conduct market research by gathering market information for price setting to specific markets.
• Prepare marketing reports on market situations and competitors' products to analyze market trends based on region, seasonality, and customer habits.
• Develop marketing ideas and strategies to gain potential customers' interest.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in trading polymers in India and international markets.
• In-depth understanding of the polymer market in India.
• Able to undertake business trips abroad or domestically.
• In-depth understanding of the latest business policies and regulations.
