Job Description

The History Teacher will be responsible for teaching American History and other related subjects to senior students, preparing lesson plans and educational materials, conducting assessments and evaluations, and providing academic support and counselling.

They will engage in research to enhance the curriculum and participate in school events and training sessions. This role requires collaboration with colleagues to ensure a cohesive academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and teach engaging lesson plans on American History and related subjects to senior students.
  • Develop and conduct training sessions for colleagues and staff members.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure student progress.
  • Provide academic support and counseling services to students as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A strong knowledge of American History and related subjects is essential for this role. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and teaching skills, experience in research and education, and the ability to develop and conduct training sessions.

Master's degree in History or a related field is required, along with prior teaching experience at the senior school level.
