Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Staff Engineer to design and develop high-quality CD frameworks for hybrid cloud environments, implement service mesh architectures, and drive DevOps/GitOps practices.

About This RoleMain Responsibilities
  • Create a scalable and efficient CD framework for a hybrid cloud setup.
  • Implement a service mesh architecture that integrates micro-services and monolithic services.
  • Bridge the gap between DevOps and GitOps by implementing best practices.
  • Design applications with API-driven design principles for clean interfaces.
  • Develop strategies for continuous deployment of growing Kubernetes/Docker-based microservices architectures.
  • Incorporate integrations between CD frameworks and other platforms like Observability, Test-Automation, GitHub, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Productivity Engineering and related areas like Automation, CI/CD, Developer-Experience, DevOps, Cloud, etc.
  • Proficient programming skills in Python or GoLang, along with code review expertise.
  • Advanced understanding of Kubernetes constructs, micro-services architecture, and design patterns for Enterprise SAAS class scale success.
  • Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Consul, Linkerd) is highly beneficial.
  • Intimate knowledge of distribution systems Apt, Artifactory, Docker Registry, Helm, etc.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps tools like Terraform, Ansible, Salt, Spinnaker, OpenStack, etc.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
