Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Infrastructure Specialist to lead the design, planning, and construction of marine infrastructure projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a strong academic foundation in coastal and marine engineering principles to work on high-profile port development projects.

As a Marine Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expertise in coastal and marine engineering to optimize the performance, stability, and sustainability of port infrastructure in challenging coastal environments.

  • Design & Construction of Marine Structures: Lead the design, planning, and construction of marine infrastructure including breakwaters, jetties, quay walls, and docks.
  • Coastal Engineering Expertise: Provide in-depth expertise in coastal and marine engineering to optimize the performance, stability, and sustainability of port infrastructure.
  • Structural & Geotechnical Analysis: Conduct advanced structural and geotechnical assessments to ensure the long-term durability and stability of marine structures under varying tidal and wave conditions.
  • Project Management & Coordination: Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful execution of marine construction works.
  • Environmental & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure construction processes are aligned with environmental regulations and safety standards to minimize impacts on the coastal ecosystem.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in marine structures design, construction, and project execution.
  • Post Graduate degree in Marine Structures or equivalent, with a strong academic foundation in coastal and marine engineering principles.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in coastal or marine construction, working on breakwater systems, jetties, seawalls, and other port infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in marine engineering software for designing and simulating coastal and marine structures.
  • Strong knowledge of coastal processes, including hydrodynamics, wave modeling, and sediment transport.
  • Experience with risk management and ability to develop cost-effective and durable solutions for marine infrastructure.
