Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of the data management team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases on Microsoft Azure.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of our databases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy database solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Design and Implementation: Design and implement database solutions using SQL Server and Azure services to meet business requirements.
  • Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting: Perform regular performance tuning and troubleshooting of database issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Security and Compliance: Maintain database security and ensure data integrity by adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor and optimize database performance using tools like SSIS and SSRS.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in database administration with a strong background in SQL Server and Azure database services.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of database design and implementation principles, including database modeling, normalization, and indexing.
  • Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex database issues.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Preferred Skills:
  • SSIS and SSRS Development Experience: Experience with SSIS and SSRS development to enhance database performance and reporting capabilities.
  • Azure DevOps and Git: Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git to manage source code and collaborate with teams.
  • Cloud-Based Database Security and Compliance: Knowledge of cloud-based database security and compliance best practices to ensure data protection.
