We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, financial reporting and accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:- Record sales, purchases, bank entries and journal entries in our accounting system.
- Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage debtors and creditors to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Provide knowledge on TDS and GST compliance.
- Assist with the finalization of financial statements.
- Handle personal accounts of partners or directors, including payroll administration.
- Perform administrative tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and send payment reminders and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
