We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of database systems, and the ability to design and implement efficient data solutions.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing logical data models, optimizing SQL queries, collaborating with developers, and managing databases from an application performance perspective.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design Logical Data Models: Develop logical data models that support application requirements, ensuring efficient data access patterns and scalable database interactions.
  • Optimize SQL Queries: Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic between tables, improving query performance under high load.
  • Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with application developers to ensure efficient data access patterns and scalable database interactions.
  • Database Management: Assist in scaling and managing the database from an application performance perspective.
  • Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for data access and modeling.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • SQL Server Expertise: Strong experience with SQL Server is essential.
  • Data Modeling Tools: Familiarity with data modeling tools and performance tuning techniques is desirable.
  • Concurrency and Scalability: Experience in environments with high concurrency and large-scale data access is required.
  • Business Logic or Financial Systems: Exposure to business logic or financial systems is beneficial but not necessary.
