Synopsis:
This role requires a senior professional to lead by example and build an appropriate culture and values. The individual will be responsible for ensuring processes are executed as required, and that the provision of ongoing training and development of people is in place.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for employing, engaging, and retaining high-quality people with succession planning for critical roles. They will set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports, provide feedback, and rewards in line with their performance.
This position involves managing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, taking regular feedback, anticipating, and understanding issues, and escalating appropriately for timely resolution.
- Responsibilities include reviewing team structure/capacity plans and setting job descriptions and objectives for direct reports.
- The role requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes.
- A high level of awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic, and market environment is necessary.
- Key skills and competencies include communication, IFRS & Accounting knowledge, Banking Loan Products, and Product Controller.
