Documentalist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Documentation Specialist to join our team.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Create and revise technical manuals, guides, and procedures for complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Develop written content by interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams.
• Ensure all documentation meets industry standards (e.g., ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D), regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA), and internal quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop structured documentation formats such as XML or SGML.
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Illustrator, IsoDraw CAD Process, or CorelDRAW for technical illustrations.
• Strong knowledge of ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, and Simplified Technical English.
• Understanding of S1000D data module structure and CGM/SVG integration for illustrations.
• Experience working with CAD tools like CATIA V5, UG (NX), and SolidWorks to generate accurate visuals.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
• Strong understanding of technical documentation standards and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
