Backend Infrastructure Developer

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and scale the core backend infrastructure that powers AI customer service agents
  • Write highly scalable, production-ready Python code (Django experience beneficial)
  • Architect backend services and infrastructure for massive enterprise-grade scale
  • Deploy and manage systems on cloud platforms like AWS or GCP with a focus on speed and reliability
  • Collaborate directly with founders and the founding engineer to influence architecture and direction
  • Take high ownership: drive projects from design to deployment in a fast-paced startup environment
Requirements
  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience with deep Python expertise (Django beneficial)
  • Strong cloud skills (AWS or GCP), with familiarity in Kubernetes/Docker
  • Proven track record of building and scaling infrastructure in production environments
  • Prior startup experience or evidence of end-to-end ownership (founder, early team member, or shipped independent projects)
  • CS degree or equivalent professional foundation
  • Bonus: experience in high-velocity, high-ownership teams (startups, top-tier tech, or quant firms)
