This role will involve working closely with a multi-disciplinary agile R&D team to define, design, and test product and digital service features that create valuable and delightful experiences for our users.

As a Senior UX Designer at athenahealth, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex design challenges and develop solutions that transform the healthcare industry. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to address the needs of the US Healthcare market, while also contributing to the growth and development of our India-based team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop user-centered design solutions that meet business and user needs
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams throughout the agile planning, design, and development process
  • Facilitate problem identification and solutioning workshops
  • Create low-to-high-fidelity sketches to communicate concepts and ideas
  • Evaluate and iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results

Requirements:

  • A degree in User Experience, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field
  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in UX design, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Solid capability in UX creative and design techniques
  • Prior experience working with Product and Engineering teams
  • Experience facilitating, summarizing, and acting on takeaways from user research
