Job Title: Ecommerce Technical Lead

At Kushals Retail Pvt LTD, we are looking for a skilled Ecommerce Technical Lead to drive the technical aspects of our ecommerce platform's development and ensure its success.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the successful development of new ecommerce products and features that meet business requirements and user needs.
  • Meet project timelines and objectives, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Lead and guide the team in building scalable and high-performance e-commerce solutions.
  • Develop and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the architectural design of the ecommerce platform and its products, aiming for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, making necessary optimizations to enhance the platform's speed and reliability.
  • Uphold high coding and technical standards by actively participating in complex coding tasks.
  • Ensure that the development team consistently produces high-quality, efficient, and secure code.
  • Ensure that all developed products and features comply with security standards and relevant regulations.
  • Stay informed about data privacy and compliance requirements to protect customer data and maintain trust.
Requirements


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Previous experience in a technical team lead or lead developer role.
  • Hands-on experience working with or building e-commerce products or platforms.
  • Required Technical Skills: Java, React, ReactNative, APIs, Headless CMS.
  • Experience in leading and managing a team.
Preferred Skills


  • Software Development: Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development tools.
  • Ecommerce Platforms: Familiarity with popular ecommerce platforms and systems like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built solutions.
  • API Integration: Ability to integrate and work with third-party APIs for payment gateways, shipping, and other ecommerce-related services.
  • Code Review: Experience in conducting code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing website and application performance through techniques like caching, load balancing, and efficient code.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team of developers.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in planning, prioritizing, and executing development projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and make decisions.
  • Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Interpersonal communication skills: Effective communication with the internal team translating technical concepts into understandable language.
