Job Title: Tech Expert for zTPF Systems

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Expert to join our team. As a Tech Expert, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions that meet the business needs of our organization.

Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and implementing software applications using zTPF Assembler, TPF-DF, and TPF-C/C++. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of these applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements analysis and technical requirement documentation
  • Designing, developing, and testing software applications using zTPF Assembler, TPF-DF, and TPF-C/C++
  • Migration experience from ZTPF to other technologies is highly desirable
  • Supporting applications in off-business hours and weekends as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in zTPF Assembler, TPF-DF, TPF-C/C++, and ALCS (Airline Control System)
  • Good working knowledge of zTPF-GI or IBM Toolkit tools (Trace Log, Code Coverage, Performance Analyzer)
  • Exposure to Airlines domain of Checkin, Reservations, or Ticketing is highly preferred
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver under tight project timelines
  • Strong logical and analytical skills to address job-related problems
  • Quality mindset, self-motivated, team player, and result-oriented
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
