Lead Software Engineer - WMOS Technical Lead

This role is for a seasoned software engineer who will lead the development of warehouse management systems, specifically Manhattan Associates WMOS. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in system configuration, data migration, and user training.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WMOS integration with other enterprise systems and proficiency in PL/SQL. They will also have good communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development team in implementing WMOS solutions
  • Configure and troubleshoot WMOS systems
  • Migrate data from legacy systems to WMOS
  • Train users on WMOS functionality
  • Analyze complex business processes and translate them into system requirements
  • Integrate MHE systems with WMOS
  • Troubleshoot WMOS related issues

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12+ years of experience as a techno-functional consultant in the retail industry
  • Strong understanding of Manhattan Associates WMOS and their integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MHE, ProShip)
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL
  • Good understanding, testing, and/or working knowledge of microservices
  • Knowledge of industry-standard WMS modules, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and pick-pack-ship processes
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into system requirements
  • Experience with system configuration, data migration, and user training
  • Experience with MHE integration and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of ProShip integration is a plus
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix with the ability to analyze WMOS logs
