Data Analyst for Clinical Trials

Key responsibilities of this position include defining project specifications for data management services, understanding external data collection and integrating it into the clinical trial, executing data cleaning strategies to accelerate time to achieve subject data cleanliness, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The role also involves performing holistic data review, trending analysis via reporting and analytics, and utilizing AI and ML for anomaly detection. Additionally, monitoring key performance indicators, metrics, and dashboards to provide actionable recommendations.

  • Define Project Specifications: Develop detailed specifications for data management services, including protocol conversion, database build, CRF design, and data review and reconciliation tools.
  • Understand External Data Collection: Integrate external data collection into the clinical trial, manage and reconcile processes to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Execute Data Cleaning Strategies: Accelerate time to achieve subject data cleanliness by implementing effective data cleaning strategies.
  • Holistic Data Review and Trending Analysis: Perform comprehensive data review and trending analysis via reporting and elluminate analytics to identify issues, risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Anomaly Detection: Utilize AI and ML to detect anomalies and outliers in trial data, enhancing efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators: Track KPIs, metrics, dashboards, CTOA, and reports to provide actionable recommendations to study leads/project managers.
  • Query Management: Manage queries related to data consistency and integrity.
  • Data Management Platform Configuration: Collaborate with technical teams to configure centralized data management platforms like elluminate Data Central.
  • Data Quality Control: Ensure quality control of team-developed deliverables, including eCRFs, study documents, program/report specifications, outputs, and elluminate Data Central with analytics modules.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teams to ensure timely completion of high-quality deliverables.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with industry quality standards, regulations, guidelines, and procedures.
