Job Title: Embedded Systems Automation Specialist

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks for embedded automotive systems, ensuring seamless integration and efficient testing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure quality, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Perform requirement analysis and derive test cases from system/software requirements, utilizing Agile methodologies and Scrum principles.
  • Execute white-box and black-box testing, analyzing results and reporting defects with detailed logs, utilizing version control systems like Git or Subversion.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards and safety protocols, including CAN (Controller Area Network), UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services), CANoe / CANalyzer.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills
  • Python Scripting: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Python for automation and testing, focusing on code-level testing and debugging.
  • Automotive Embedded Testing: Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded systems testing within the automotive domain, with strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
  • Software & Composite Testing Expertise: Strong knowledge of unit, integration, and system testing, as well as core testing principles and defect management.
  • White-box Testing: Experience in code-level testing and debugging, utilizing tools and techniques for code coverage analysis.
  • Embedded C Programming: Proficiency in C for embedded systems, with familiarity with AUTOSAR layered software architecture.
  • Agile Methodology: Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
  • Requirement-Based Testing: Ability to derive and execute test cases from system/software requirements, utilizing unified modeling language (UML) for system design and documentation.
