About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Specialist to join our team at Hire Xpert. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical imaging principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

The Radiology Specialist will be responsible for interpreting medical images, performing diagnostic procedures, and providing accurate reports to referring physicians. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Image Interpretation: Interpret medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, nuclear medicine studies, and fluoroscopy, to diagnose a wide range of conditions and diseases.
  • Diagnostic Procedures: Perform diagnostic procedures and interventions, including image-guided biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures, to obtain tissue samples or guide treatment planning.
  • Reporting: Provide accurate and comprehensive radiology reports summarizing imaging findings, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations for further evaluation or treatment.
  • Collaboration: Consult and collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings, correlate with clinical data, and guide patient management decisions.
  • Digital Imaging: Utilize digital imaging and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) to acquire, store, retrieve, and transmit medical images securely and efficiently.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, imaging protocols, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
  • Education and Training: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, tumour boards, and case conferences to contribute expertise in imaging interpretation and assist in treatment planning for complex cases. Additionally, provide educational support and mentorship to residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in training.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in radiology or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of medical imaging principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and analytical skills.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
