Job Title: Senior Data Science Professional

Job Description :

We are hiring a highly skilled data science professional to drive digital transformation initiatives across the agriculture sector. You will lead complex data science projects end-to-end, from model development to deployment, while working with global stakeholders across regions such as Asia-Pacific and North America.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and refine data models based on evolving business needs.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data on pricing, logistics, and costs.
  • Conduct market research for regions like India, Australia, and Canada.
  • Design and implement Power BI dashboards and automated reports.
  • Collaborate with research and functional teams to deliver insights.
  • Ensure data quality through validation and cleaning processes.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for automation.

Required Skills :

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience leading complex data science projects.
  • Strong hands-on skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy), MySQL, and Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas).
  • Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in the agriculture or commodity trading sector is a plus.
  • Familiarity with global market dynamics and supply chain operations.
