Data Engineering Role

Skill required – AWS, Python, Pyspark

5+ years of overall IT experience, which includes hands on experience in Big Data technologies.


We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data processing systems using Spark, PySpark and other big data technologies.


The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with:

  • Python and PySpark
  • AWS services like Amazon EMR, Amazon Athena, AWS Glue
  • Version control tools like Git


You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deploy scalable and efficient data pipelines that meet business needs.


In addition to technical skills, you must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and drive solutions.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about data engineering, has strong analytical skills, and is able to think creatively to solve complex problems.


This role requires strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including dimensions, facts, schemas- snowflake, star etc., as well as columnar storage formats- Parquet,Avro,ORC etc. and compression techniques – Snappy, Gzip.


Experience working with AWS databases (atleast one) such as Aurora, RDS, Redshift, ElastiCache, DynamoDB is a plus.
