About the Role : An Electrical Design Engineer is needed to create detailed engineering drawings for oil and gas production facilities and midstream operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of engineering principles, attention to detail, and proficiency in AutoCAD software. They will be responsible for developing and preparing engineering drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD.

The successful candidate will also update drawings markup using Blue Beam and maintain accurate records of all drawings and revisions.

They will collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.

Additionally, they will review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and preparing engineering drawings, plans, and layouts for oil and gas production facilities and midstream operations.
  • Updating drawings markup using Blue Beam.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all drawings and revisions.
  • Collaborating with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Reviewing and revising drawings based on feedback from engineers and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter, preferably in the O&G industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other relevant drafting tools.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
