We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.

This individual will be responsible for designing, automating, and scaling our testing philosophy using the power of AI.

Role Overview

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will set up intelligent systems, create repeatable frameworks, vet new feature releases, and ensure that the user experience feels just right.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Ops teams to feed insights into product improvements and maintain high-quality documentation of testing systems, workflows, and improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and run test cases at scale using AI tools like GPT-based agents or automated test generation systems.
  2. Manually test flows to spot edge cases, experience breaks, and "vibe mismatches".
  3. Build intelligent, repeatable testing frameworks using tools like Cypress, Playwright, or custom setups using JavaScript.
  4. Design and refine test scenarios to catch both technical bugs and UX mismatches.
  5. Own the release quality of products from a user and business perspective, not just technical correctness.
  6. Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Ops teams to feed insights into product improvements.
  7. Maintain high-quality documentation of testing systems, workflows, and improvements.
Who You Are
  • Distinguish between a "perfectly working" feature and a "perfectly feeling" feature.
  • Take ownership, spot gaps nobody pointed out, and act fast.
  • Be comfortable with basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Have experience with tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or custom-built test scripts.
  • Enjoy learning new tools (especially AI-based tools) and applying them creatively.
  • Think about products from a user's perspective, not just from an engineer's checklist.
  • Clearly document bugs, edge cases, and testing flows.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience using AI for test case generation or script generation.
  • Exposure to LLM-based workflows or agents (e.g., Langchain, AutoGPT).
  • Prior startup experience.
  • Exposure to REST APIs and basic API testing.
  • A good design sense or UX intuition.
