Video Editor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative video editor to join our dynamic content team. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling and a passion for creating compelling visual content tailored for digital platforms.

The role involves editing short and long-form video content for various digital platforms, including social media, YouTube, reels, ads, and campaigns. You will work closely with the creative, social media, and marketing teams to understand content strategy and execute video outputs that align with brand tone and objectives.

  • Trim footage segments and assemble sequences while adding transitions, music, voiceovers, effects, and graphics as needed.
  • Create motion graphics and simple animations in Adobe After Effects or similar tools to elevate video content.
  • Maintain and manage a library of raw footage, edited versions, and project files with proper naming conventions and organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with video trends, platform updates, and audience preferences to keep content fresh and relevant.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling basic audio editing, color correction, and visual enhancements to deliver polished final products.
  • Ensuring projects are completed within deadlines and delivered in required formats and resolutions.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Multimedia, or a related field, along with 1-3 years of professional experience in video editing. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is essential. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams are also required.

A well-prepared portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing skills and creative storytelling is necessary. Basic knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and sound editing is also beneficial. Familiarity with video formats and best practices for various social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.) is desired.
