Job Title: Biomedical Science Educator

Overview:

As a Biomedical Science Educator at Vellore Institute of Technology, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality education and research in the field of biomedical sciences, and we are seeking an experienced educator to join us.

Responsibilities:

- Teach a variety of undergraduate courses in biomedical sciences, including anatomy, physiology, and biology.
- Advise health science students and provide guidance on their academic and career paths.
- Engage in research projects and services to the department and university, including occasional weekend and summer events.
- Work with the administration and faculty to grow the program and enhance the student experience.
- Meet with prospective students and their parents on on-campus visits to showcase the program's excellence.

Qualifications:

- A post-graduate degree in a relevant specialty or super-specialty from a recognized teaching institute.
- Minimum 2 years of postdoctoral experience in teaching and research.
- Strong teaching and research experience in applied anatomy, physiology, augmented reality, and virtual reality.
- Expertise in healthcare-related fields and a demonstrated record of securing extramural funding from public and private sources.
- Experience in translational research and product development.

Experience:

- 2 years as an Assistant Professor and 4 years as an Associate Professor with teaching and research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty.
