Job Title: Cloud Engineer

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.
  • They will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into robust AWS solutions.
  • The selected candidate will also implement AWS monitoring systems and security measures to safeguard AWS environments.
  • Additionally, they will ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.
  • Developing strategies for optimizing AWS costs without compromising performance or security is also an essential aspect of this role.
  • Responsibilities include responding to systems alerts, investigating, and resolving related system failures, and recovering/restoring failed systems and applications.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • 7-9 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Strong experience implementing access control using IAM.
  • Experience with repository management (Git).
  • Implementing, maintaining, and monitoring AWS Workspaces.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible Tower, and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Strong AWS implementation and administration experience.
  • Monitoring/maintaining secure networking practices within the AWS infrastructure.
  • Experience with multi-region disaster recovery solutions using AWS services.
  • CloudTrail and CloudWatch experience.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and processes to achieve commitments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to all levels of the organization.
  • Process and technical documentation skills.
