Water Management Specialist

The role of the Water Management Specialist will involve producing watermains, piping layouts, and profile drawings in compliance with Building Information Modelling (BIM) / Computer-Aided Design (CAD) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of watermains, piping layouts, and profile drawings to ensure accuracy and quality under high-level guidance
  • Preparation of detailed drawings including conceptual sketches using Autodesk Civil 3D software (pipe networks, profiles, alignments, assemblies & sub-assemblies, 3D Feature Lines and Grading Groups)
  • Creation of Revit MEP, HVAC, Electrical models for infrastructure projects
  • Production of drawings to meet Client drafting standards and Quality requirements
  • Completion of BIM / CAD tasks as directed by Senior Technicians or Engineers
  • Adherence to training requirements and staying up-to-date with Drafting skills
  • Working with different standards and preparing engineering drawings to specified standards
  • Drafting / Modelling assistance for engineers and technologists in completing road/parking lot, storm and sanitary sewer, water main, and grading drawings, 3D Modelling Works
  • Other duties as assigned related to QAQC Compliance

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Under Graduation degree in a Civil Engineering Discipline
  • 3 – 8 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and Autodesk Civil 3D Design
  • Strong team player responsible for quality drawing production and self-check of drawings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with BIM processes and standards
  • Knowledge of additional software tools related to civil engineering
