Job Title: Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Construction Estimator. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or a related field.
  • Chartered QS under a recognized organization.
  • Strong IT literacy and proficiency with MS Office.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work rapidly and accurately under pressure.
  • Organized self-starter with attention to detail and ability to work independently.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects. You will advise on tendering procedures, contract arrangements, and commercial evaluation of tender submissions. You will also draft instructions to tenderers, PQQ questionnaires, and pricing documents for tender packages. Additionally, you will negotiate with tenderers and determine amounts due to contractors for price variation.
