About the Role

This role focuses on building and deploying machine learning models, enabling product recommendations, and unlocking customer insights that directly impact business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models to support product recommendations and personalization.
  • Design and implement data models with SQL to ensure clean, reliable, and scalable datasets.
  • Work on customer segmentation and forecasting use cases to enhance strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into actionable data solutions.
  • Leverage tools like Snowflake and DBT for data transformation and model building.
  • Communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python for data science and machine learning workflows is essential.

Experience in SQL for data modeling and querying is required.

A solid understanding of Machine Learning (supervised, unsupervised, recommendation systems) is necessary.

Hands-on experience with PyTorch (or other machine learning frameworks) is desirable.

Familiarity with Snowflake and DBT is beneficial.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills are crucial.

Preferred Background

1–3 years of applied experience in Data Science / Machine Learning is preferred.

Prior experience in E-commerce is essential.

Exposure to AWS or other cloud machine learning platforms is desirable.
