We are seeking a Visual Storyteller
Create engaging maps and visualizations to effectively communicate spatial insights.
A mix of technical skills and creative vision is required for this role.
The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge in basemap digitization, geospatial analysis, and GIS data management.
This is a remote role where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide spatial insights and support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and maintain GIS databases, applications, and geospatial products.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret geographic data from various sources (satellite imagery, aerial photographs, maps, etc.).
- Create high-quality maps and visualizations to effectively communicate spatial insights.
- Conduct spatial analyses, including clustering, proximity analysis, and overlay analysis.
- Collaborate with urban planners, engineers, and data scientists to integrate GIS technology into workflows.
- Provide technical support and training for GIS software and tools.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of GIS data and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent).
- Experience in Basemap Digitization Projects, geospatial analysis, data management, and cartography.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Work Details:
- Remote (Work From Home)
- Salary Range: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month
