Job Title: Oracle DBA Lead

Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle DBA lead to join our team. As an Oracle DBA lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Oracle DBAs, providing technical guidance, performance evaluations, and career development.

You will have experience in handling teams of at least 10 resources and excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with development, operations, and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administer and support Oracle Databases (11g, 12c, 19c) ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
  2. Install, configure, and manage Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), including patching, upgrades, and user access.
  3. Monitor and maintain Oracle Apps EBS environments, ensuring maximum uptime and system efficiency.
  4. Design, implement, and manage high availability solutions for Oracle Databases and Oracle EBS, including Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and Active Data Guard.
  5. Manage and optimize Oracle Applications environments, including APPS tier, DB tier, and Concurrent Managers.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, application errors, and connectivity problems.
  7. Perform Oracle EBS upgrades, including patching, maintenance, and full application stack validation.
  8. Manage Oracle 12c/19c multi-tenant databases (PDB/CDB) and container databases.
  9. Ensure Oracle database and applications comply with security best practices, including user management, encryption, and audit trails.
  10. Work closely with development teams to optimize application performance and integrate Oracle-based solutions.
  11. Monitor and manage database and application performance using Oracle Enterprise Manager and other monitoring tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with at least 8+ years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) administration.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Database (11g, 12c, 19c) administration, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in managing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) installations, including all application tiers (DB Tier, Apps Tier), and managing Concurrent Managers, Oracle Forms, Reports, and Workflow.
