Medical Writer Role

The Medical Writer Role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled medical writer to join our team and contribute to the creation of high-quality, client-ready scientific, medical, and educational materials.

This role requires strong scientific expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in relevant fields of scientific writing, a PhD/MD (Pharmacology) or equivalent, and a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop High-Quality Content: Use scientific expertise to develop high-quality, client-ready scientific, medical, and educational materials, such as slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, MSL/training slide decks, infographics, congress and meetings materials, literature searches and reviews, standard response letters/medical information letters, and HCP engagement content.
  • Liaise with Clients: Liaise and build trusting and professional relationships with international pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, internal and external stakeholders, including authors, reviewers, and key opinion leaders across therapeutic areas.
  • Communicate Effectively: Effectively and proactively communicate with team members, authors/faculty, clients, and vendors.
  • Attend Meetings and Workshops: Attend workshops/seminars/trainings to hone your skills and contribute to organizational objectives.
  • Support Senior Team Members: Support senior team members as needed.
  • Apply Scientific and Creative Knowledge: Apply your scientific and creative knowledge and work closely with client directors in developing ideas and executing effective medical communications initiatives in the digital space.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Scientific Writing Experience: 3-5 years of experience in relevant fields of scientific writing.
  • Education: PhD/MD (Pharmacology) or equivalent, or PharmD with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • Language Skills: Clear, concise, scientific style of writing, with a high level of attention to detail and excellent language skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, especially with clients.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences.
  • Biostatistics: Basic knowledge of biostatistics.
  • Literature Reviewing: Literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities.
