Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement, manage, and maintain CommScope’s Windows-based enterprise infrastructure to support critical business systems.
  • Expertly handle Windows AD/DFS/DNS/DHCP/Print Server and File server concepts in Windows OS 2012/2016/2019.
  • Successfully manage and upgrade Vcenter/vSphere 6.5/6.7/7.0.
  • Provision VMs within VMware/Nutanix environments by understanding customer requirements.
  • Proactively resolve issues within SLAs as a self-starter.
  • Apply Windows Servers patching tools like SCCM/WSUS.
  • Apply hands-on experience in Cloud Technologies (Azure/AWS).
  • Demonstrate strong hardware knowledge on Server Hardware HP/Dell/Cisco and manage vendor relationships.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills in Windows and VMware environments.
  • Balance multiple antivirus software with proficiency.
  • Coordinate the Citrix Virtual apps and Desktop Service.
  • Manage ticketing queues and issue resolutions following ITIL processes like Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
  • Participate in team On-Call rotation.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • A completed bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related curriculum.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Windows Systems Administration and at least 3+ years in VMware with scripting experience focusing on configuration management.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Over 5 years of experience supporting Data Centers in a large, multisite (preferably global) enterprise network.
  • Azure, VMware Certified Advanced Professional VCAP5 or higher.
  • Proven experience in design, implementation, quality assurance, and transition to operations of enterprise-level virtualized infrastructure.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows server 2012, 2016, and 2019 operating systems.
  • Solid understanding of basic networking concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design, deployment, administration, configuration, and integration of data center technologies.
  • Extensive experience with server platforms such as Cisco UCS, HP, or Dell.
  • Familiarity with Zerto, VEEAM, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of Hyper-Converged Infrastructure.
  • Experience with Cloud services and highly available data center solutions.
  • Experience in planning, deploying, and configuring systems in a cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • More than 5 years of experience coordinating Windows systems in an important environment.
  • At least 2 years of cloud tenant administration (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Over 2 years managing VMware ESX/ESXi or vSphere environments.
  • More than 3 years coordinating Windows 2012/2016/2019 (AD/DNS/DHCP).
  • NAS/SAN storage experience, with HPE and NetApp preferred.
  • Identity Management/AD/LDAP experience.
  • Systems Management experience (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Experience with Commvault/Veeam/NetBackup.
