Key Responsibilities

  • Manage RESTful APIs and ensure smooth communication between front-end and back-end components, fostering a culture of interdependence and mutual support.
  • Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability, adhering to industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent user experiences, catering to diverse needs and preferences.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to enhance application performance, leveraging problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and developments, embracing ongoing learning and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Django ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) for efficient database handling, facilitating data-driven decision making.
  • Mastery of Django's template language for generating dynamic HTML content, enabling flexibility and customization.
  • Familiarity with Django REST framework for building Web APIs, streamlining communication and data exchange.
  • Knowledge of class-based views to organise application logic, promoting structure and maintainability.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, empowering creative expression and visualisation.
  • Understanding of security features in Django (e.g., XSS protection, CSRF protection), safeguarding user data and preventing vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering open communication and mutual respect.
