Our IT Director, Product Management: As a key member of our IT team, the IT Director, Product Management will play a crucial role in driving company value and performance through the design and management of an innovation roadmap for various software product lines. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders and client-facing leaders to prioritize features for one of our key global software platforms, leveraging their technical knowledge and business acumen to inform product decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship & Stakeholder Management: Manage executive business relationships globally, conduct executive product briefings, and utilize discipline, trust, and gravitas to negotiate and direct expectations.
  • Prioritization: Familiarity with MOSCOW, RICE, and KANO methods of scoring and prioritization with product sponsors and ability to balance cross-functional stakeholder groups.
  • Needs and Value Assessment: User field research, stakeholder requirements, and priorities, gap-fit assessments, user experience design.
  • Product Delivery: Partner with teams to ensure product commitments are negotiated and delivered as promised.
  • Results: Delivery small, quick wins often, operate with agility, and measure and report on business value and impact.
  • Continuous Improvement: Define and measure performance, identify opportunities to improve, set expectations, and monitor team dynamics.
  • Ideation & Innovation: Combine business insight, stakeholder and user feedback, product operational observations, and research to create product scope and feature ideas.
  • Research: Industry trend analysis, competitive analysis, market research, software vendor assessments.
  • Strategy: Establish a methodology for evaluating operational, business, and market conditions and current strategy direction for the portfolio and specific products.

Requirements:

  • 15 years of related business experience.
  • 12 years of software development, design, and product management experience.
  • At least 10 years of leadership experience in a global business environment across multiple international work locations.
  • Experience leading multiple product teams with quality projects on time and broad scope and business impact.
  • Strong UX skills and ability to create intuitive user experiences.
  • Technical skills and understanding of complex technical product development processes.
  • Analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Effective communication and diplomatic skills.
  • Adaptability and ability to navigate complex situations.
