Senior Mining Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mining Expert to join our team. This role involves developing comprehensive strategies to promote investment and drive significant production growth in the mining sector.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of mining areas, including exploration, resource evaluation, mine development, and beneficiation. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive strategies to promote investment and drive significant production growth in the mining sector.
  • Provide expert advice on mining areas to support regulatory frameworks and company mining strategies.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis on regional mining industry trends, opportunities, and challenges – generate insights and actionable output.
  • Collaborate with mining companies, investors, and local communities to promote sustainable mining practices and build strong relationships.
  • Establish and implement performance metrics to track progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mining fields (geology, mining specialist); MBAs preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the mining industry and overall experience of minimum 8 years in research and consulting field.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of mining areas, including exploration, resource evaluation, mine development, and beneficiation.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

This role requires willingness to travel extensively, as needed, for prolonged durations.
