As a Business Analyst in the Insurance domain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of software development projects. Your key responsibility will be to analyze business needs and elicit requirements from clients.
You will work closely with project leads to understand and define scope and vision, gathering requirements independently by driving workshops, storyboards sessions, and user stories discussions. Documenting functional requirements, process flows, test scenarios/cases is also an essential part of your job.
Additionally, you will be responsible for understanding business needs and prioritizing requirements, analyzing them for completeness and consistency. You will also provide support during all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including UAT and post-deployment activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain strong relationships with clients and project leadership.
- Hands-on experience of Insurance projects, with knowledge of SQL and latest developments in technology.
- Exposure to risk analytics and/or regulatory requirements for insurance.
- Ability to work with technical teams for implementation and deployment of requirements.
