Job Title: Building Design Expert

We are seeking a skilled Building Design Expert to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and engineering social infrastructure projects that prioritize safety and durability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop structural design and engineering inputs for Social Infrastructure DPR projects.
  • Review and finalize structural designs, drawings, and detailed estimates to ensure accuracy.
  • Carry out thorough structural analysis and verify compliance with IS codes, NBC, and applicable international standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other specialists to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Evaluate foundation design, load calculations, earthquake-resistant design, and durability aspects.
  • Prepare design basis reports, structural BOQs, and cost estimates for projects.
  • Conduct a review of DPR deliverables (draft and final reports) from a structural perspective.
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams and support capacity building initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering with expertise in structural design software.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering and post-graduate degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of IS codes, IRC standards, and international guidelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and excellent communication skills.
