We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Linux Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

  • Manage, configure, and monitor enterprise-grade Linux servers and environments across production, staging, and development.
  • Evaluate and implement best practices for system security, performance, and uptime through routine maintenance and hardening.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Patch management, software upgrades, and kernel tuning to ensure systems run smoothly.
  • Set up and manage services like Apache/Nginx, MySQL/PostgreSQL, DNS, DHCP, SSH, NFS, etc., ensuring seamless data transfer.
  • Implement and monitor system backups, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data.
  • Monitor logs and system health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Nagios to identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams for CI/CD integration and container support (Docker, Kubernetes) to facilitate smooth workflow.
  • Apply security best practices (SELinux, firewall rules, fail2ban, auditing tools) to maintain a secure environment.
  • Support in incident response and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for system failures to minimize downtime.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation if needed to ensure 24/7 availability.

About You:

  • You will have 4-5 years of experience managing Linux-based systems, with a strong focus on enterprise environments.
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex Linux systems.
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Bash, Python, Ansible, and proficiency in at least one.
  • Experience with patch management, software upgrades, and kernel tuning to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Knowledge of services like Apache/Nginx, MySQL/PostgreSQL, DNS, DHCP, SSH, NFS, etc.
  • Strong understanding of system backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data.
