Senior Business Analyst (E-Commerce)

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our business analysis team, you will be responsible for ensuring the business needs of our clients are fully documented and met by proposed solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document complex requirements and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria that can be used by both business and technical users.
  • Plan, run, and facilitate workshops, as well as assess source documentation from clients.
  • Identify and recommend options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability.
  • Create logical and innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Presentation of proposals to clients.
  • Manage scrum/delivery teams through to go live.
  • Analyze business systems to recommend efficiencies.
  • Provide estimates for future analysis work.
  • Work closely with developers and end-users to ensure all solutions deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Provide training to users of new systems as required.
  • Communicate and collaborate with test teams.
  • Plan and work flexibly to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical and industry sector advances.
  • Maintain great client relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Maintain consistently high levels of client satisfaction and escalate business-critical situations as needed.

Requirements:

  • You should have 8-12+ years' experience working as a Senior Business Analyst on large ecommerce projects.
  • Experience of working supplier-side and managing client stakeholders and 3rd parties.
  • Able to plan and run large workshops with senior client stakeholders and manage senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Highly proactive, talented, enthusiastic, focused, eye for detail, professional.
  • Keen to learn and challenge for smarter ways of doing things; a team player proud of their work who wants to share it.
  • Liking working in fast-paced environments and inspiring outstanding online shopper experiences for consumers and brands, regardless of product, service, sector, device, or channel.
  • Happiness working at client locations when needed.
  • Agile software delivery experience.
  • Business Process mapping and engineering experience.
  • eCommerce and retail/brand experience.
  • Production of high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Analysis and design of systems (package integration and bespoke development).
  • Ability to work on own initiative to agreed action plans.
  • Strong communication skills - this role requires high-level communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic with strong attention to detail.
