Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team at Viyona Fintech. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and a passion for accuracy and compliance.

About the Position

  • The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with audits.
  • This position plays a critical role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Record Management: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and other accounting documents.
  2. Transaction Processing: Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, including bank statements, vendor payments, and customer transactions.
  3. Discrepancy Resolution: Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain accuracy in financial records.
  4. Data Consistency: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data consistency across payment systems and financial platforms.
  5. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and maintain detailed reconciliation reports for management review.
  6. Process Automation: Assist in the automation of reconciliation processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  8. Audit Support: Support audits by providing necessary reconciled data and reports.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in accountant or a similar role; fintech experience is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in using accounting software and tools; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of reconciliation tools.
