Job Overview

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at the forefront of driving analytics for impactful business outcomes. This hybrid role requires working at least three days a week in the office.

Lead Specialist - Data Analytics/Data Engineering

  1. Be part of the core team that drives analytics for impactful business outcomes.
  2. Work closely with Business & Sales leaders across regions, aligning intelligence efforts with unique needs of each business unit and geography.
  3. Play a pivotal role in influencing how we drive commercial success across diverse markets and regions.
  4. Find opportunities to grow, make an impact, and see results of your work resonate globally.
  5. Develop and enhance skills in data analytics, market intelligence, and stakeholder management, benefiting from a team that values continuous learning and development.
  6. Collaborate with international stakeholders to align with business requirements & objectives.
  7. Gather, analyze and model data to develop business insights to drive decisions.
  8. Design and implement data pipelines, including ETL processes, to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into structured formats for analysis.
  9. Integrate and aggregate data from multiple sources, such as internal databases, third-party APIs, and data lakes, into centralized data warehouses or data lakes.
  10. Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, demonstrating effective prioritization and time management.
  11. Communicate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Analytics, or a related field, or a Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Applications, IT, Business Analytics, or any discipline.
  • Proven experience of 4-5 years in data engineering, ETL development, and data pipeline management along with exposure to data analysis & Insights, whilst working with large data sets.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction and manipulation with specific experience in managing a database along with writing intermediate to complex SQL queries for data extraction.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or similar.
  • Effective communication skills to present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance standards.
