Job Title: Full Stack Java Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack Java Engineer to join our team. As a Full Stack Java Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling our applications using modern Java and Spring Boot.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design. They will also have experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development, as well as proficiency in SQL performance tuning and database optimization.

In addition to technical expertise, we are looking for someone who can effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality solutions. The successful candidate will be able to take ownership of projects from concept to completion and drive them forward with enthusiasm and dedication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement scalable backend services and robust REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Optimize and manage our MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, focusing on performance, schema design, and query tuning.
  • Work with AWS SQS to build asynchronous, event-driven workflows that ensure system reliability and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and help guide junior engineers.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of features—from gathering requirements and design to deployment and monitoring.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions.
