Data Scraping Team Lead

As a seasoned professional, you will spearhead the development and implementation of scalable data scraping solutions using cutting-edge tools like Scrapy and Python libraries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance data pipelines utilizing advanced techniques for blocking and captcha-solving.
  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers, overseeing project timelines and deliverables to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies for web and app interactions through source code reverse engineering and automation.
  • Manage and maintain proxies, IP rotation, and SSL unpinning to guarantee effective data scraping operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project planning, execution, and performance monitoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Data Scraping: Minimum 4 years in IT industry with a strong focus on data extraction.
  • Leadership: Minimum 2 years leading a team of software developers with expertise in team management and project oversight.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Advanced Python programming skills.
    • Captcha solving and blocking handling expertise.
    • Source code reverse engineering capabilities.
    • Proxy management and IP rotation experience.
    • Web and app automation skills.
    • API management and version control systems expertise.
    • Error handling and SQL skills.
  • Leadership Skills:
    • Project management skills.
    • Documentation and communication skills.
    • Team handling and conflict resolution skills.
    • Pressure management and adaptability skills.
    • High accountability and results-oriented mindset.

Preferred (Good to Have):

  • Experience with Linux operating system.
