Job Description
We are seeking a skilled sales professional to join our team as a Renewable Energy Sales Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our digital portfolio to APAC developers, utilities, IPPs and engineering firms. This includes introducing and presenting our different portfolio product offerings to potential customers, following up with trials and other inbound leads and requests, and closing sales.
You will also contribute to the development of strategy for our assigned specialized software products/services by providing input on customer needs, pain points, trends, etc. to product / service manager. Additionally, you will maintain ongoing relationships after initial sale has closed to effectively convert this into software renewals and expansion to additional products.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2+ years of B2B related software sales experience
- Experience in digital offerings, within the renewable industry would be a plus
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate
- Ability to work effectively across multiple departments in a deadline-driven environment
- Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities
- Ability to maintain good relationships with clients
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software
