Job Summary:

This position involves working as a Cybersecurity Risk Analyst in our organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for an L1 Analyst with experience in Azure Sentinel to join our team.
  • A preferred certification is SC 200.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for opening and tracking incidents based on suspicious alerts and/or logs in accordance with the intervention protocol of each client.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring the networks of clients using our SIEM, ensuring the availability of said infrastructure, and recommending solutions that would improve the security posture of the clients.
  • Additionally, the candidate will produce the required monthly reports and compile and produce weekly vulnerability reports.
  • The analyst will also answer and respond to calls for support on incident.
Qualification and Skills:
  • A university degree in IT or a college degree with 2 years of relevant IT experience is required.
  • The ideal candidate should have proficiency in communication protocols found on modern networks (ICMP, IP, UDP, TCP, ARP, HTTP, HTTPS/SSL, SNMP, POP, etc.).
  • The candidate should have sound knowledge of network security topics.
  • An ability to analyze, assess vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations is essential.
  • One or more of the following security certifications: CEH, GISF, Security+, SSCP will be considered an asset.
  • Other security certifications will be considered an asset.
  • Experience with SIEM & Incident handling will be considered an asset.
