The Position- Lead cross-functional teams in designing, developing, and validating medical device systems and products.
- Apply your technical expertise and leadership skills to guide teams through complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Develop and execute comprehensive plans for system design, development, and validation, aligning with business objectives.
- Oversee the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement best practices, optimizing processes and workflows.
- Monitor and maintain accurate documentation throughout all phases of development, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate activities across product teams to ensure timely delivery of systems for characterization, verification, and validation testing.
- Recruit, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their growth and development.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of systems verification and validation processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, providing technical insights and updates on systems verification and validation progress.
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience, preferably in managing cross-functional engineering teams.
- Bachelor's or master's degree required, with a strong foundation in engineering principles and management practices.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and mentoring teams, driving innovation and improving processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
