Generative AI Engineer

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions with a focus on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Fine-tune, prompt-engineer, and optimize LLMs for domain-specific tasks, leveraging frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
  • Integrate LLMs with APIs, databases, vector stores, and enterprise applications, ensuring seamless integration and efficient workflows.
  • Evaluate and implement model deployment strategies across various environments, including on-prem, cloud, serverless, or containerized setups.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end AI solutions that meet business objectives and exceed customer expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and GenAI research, identifying opportunities to adopt new technologies and enhance our AI capabilities.
  • Implement ModelOps best practices for continuous training, deployment, and monitoring of models in production, ensuring high-quality outputs and minimizing operational risks.
  • Ensure responsible AI practices throughout the development process, prioritizing bias mitigation, data privacy, and compliance to maintain the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in Python; familiarity with Java, C#, or Node.js is a plus.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Generative AI and LLM-based development, with a strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals.
  • Strong knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), deep learning, embeddings, and transformers, with experience working with LLMs like OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, LLaMA, Falcon, Mistral, or similar.
  • Proven track record of delivering at least 2 production-grade LLM-based projects, with experience working with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, or similar.
  • Familiarity with vector databases, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and AI services (Bedrock, VertexAI, Azure OpenAI) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in containerization and deployment tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, is essential for success in this role.
  • Experience with ModelOps tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, Weights & Biases for model lifecycle management is also highly valued.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are critical for effective collaboration and project delivery.
