AI Physics Researchers Sought for Large-Scale Model Enhancement

We are looking for experts in physics and analytics to fine-tune and evaluate large language models. Your work will improve LLMs' ability to understand complex physics problems.

Key Research Objectives:

  • An electron emitted from a cylindrical conductor due to its magnetic field reaches a maximum distance from the axis. Determine this distance.
  • A pion traveling through a material decays within a certain distance based on its rest mass and proper lifetime. Calculate the probability of this decay.

These tasks identify model weaknesses and enhance training and evaluation workflows.

Candidate Profile:

  • Academic Background: PhD/Postdoc in Physics or Applied Physics is required.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills: Ability to solve complex physics problems with clear reasoning.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Explain complex topics clearly and provide precise feedback.
  • Research Independence: Work independently in a remote research environment and participate actively in team discussions.
  • Technical Setup: Reliable computer and internet setup for remote assignments.

This position is open to candidates who have completed or are pursuing a Ph.D. A minimum 4-hour daily commitment is required, with at least 20 hours per week, including 4 hours overlapping with PST time. Task-based assessment followed by a contract offer with defined timelines and workload.
