Automation Testing Professional

This position requires an experienced automation testing professional with hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium. Key skills include building robust test frameworks for web applications to ensure software quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working with Agile teams to identify test scenarios, automate functional and regression test cases, and integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop reusable automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Automate functional, regression, and integration test cases for web applications.
  • Work closely with developers and QA analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks based on Java, Python, or other programming languages.
  • Execute test scripts, analyze results, and report defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing using Selenium Grid.
  • Perform root cause analysis on failed tests and provide resolutions.
  • Maintain test documentation and provide regular status reports.
