Remote Chemistry Specialist Opportunity

This is a remote chemistry specialist role that involves working on projects to refine large language models using strong analytical and English comprehension skills.

  • The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in chemistry, comparable to the level required for engineering entrance exams, as well as graduate or PhD-level programs.
  • Break down complex chemistry problems into simple explanations and work efficiently.
  • Projects will also help you learn how to leverage AI to be a better analyst, future-proofing your career in an AI-first world.

Day-to-Day Tasks

  • Solve advanced chemistry problems at undergraduate and graduate levels, creating detailed explanations.
  • Work with mixed chemistry content, combining text with images, chemical equations, diagrams, and visual representations.
  • Examples of tasks include analyzing organic reactions, solving chemical equilibrium problems, and addressing challenging questions in stoichiometry, thermodynamics, organic chemistry, and electrochemistry.
Requirements
  • Qualification: Pursuing a Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Good research and analytical skills.
  • Feedback Skills: Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
  • Creative Thinking: Creative and lateral thinking abilities.
  • Communication: Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
  • Independence: Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Technical Setup: Desktop/Laptop setup with a good internet connection.
