Lead Data Scraping Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Lead Data Scraping Engineer. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in IT scraping, with a minimum of 2 years leading a team of 5+ developers.

  • Responsibilities include designing and developing scalable data scraping solutions using tools like Scrapy and Python libraries.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of 5+ developers, managing project timelines and deliverables.
  • Implementing advanced blocking and captcha-solving techniques to bypass scraping restrictions.
  • Conducting source code reverse engineering and automating web and app interactions.
  • Maintaining and improving API integrations and data pipelines.
  • Ensuring code quality through effective version control, error handling, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Data Scraping: At least 4 years in IT scraping industry
  • Leadership: At least 2 years leading a team of 5+ developers
  • Scraping Tools: Scrapy, Threading, requests, web automation
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced Python programming
    • Captcha solving and blocking handling
    • Source code reverse engineering
    • Proxy management and IP rotation
    • App automation, SSL Unpinning, and Frida
    • API Management and Version Control Systems
    • Error Handling, SQL, MongoDB, and Pandas
  • Leadership Qualities:
    • Basic project management skills
    • Moderate documentation skills
    • Team handling and pressure management
    • Flexibility and adaptability
    • High accountability

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of Appium, Fiddler, and Burp Suite
